4th round of Clomid, Month 18 TTC #2

I took 50 MG Clomid for the first 3 cycles and took 100 MG this cycle.

I have PCOS and I wasn’t ovulating regularly and also had extended periods (120 day cycles).

On cd 13 I got my first ever flashing smiley on a clear blue advanced ovulation test, and I still have one today cd 15.

I went in for a follicle scan yesterday and again for the first time I have one dominant follicle on my right ovary!!

My doctor said the follicle was 25mm and was ready for ovulation.

However when I received my results via email today, it says “right ovary- 25mm cyst”.

My doctor is out of office today, so I’m coming to Glow for some insight.

If the follicle is labeled Cyst, does this still mean it contains an egg? Or is it just a fluid filled ovarian cyst formed due to the Clomid?
