Really Irritated with my husband

My husband is starting to irritate me so much. Since our 5 month old was born. He's so overprotective. Which is normal. But it seems like he only says stuff to me. He sits closely and watches me do stuff and tells me that I'm too rough. (When I promise that I am not.) I'm so sick of it. I'd never do anything to hurt my son and it hurts my feelings. And I do validate and say ok, try to do things his way . I listen to him and assure him. But now it's too much and it's getting annoying that I can't be around my son without my husband closely watching me and telling me how to do things or what I'm doing wrong. When I've had more experience with babies and I never throw anything in his face. We're supposed to be a team. I'm not.sure what to do.
