Started pumping at 40 weeks as per my doctor. Questions!

I am 40 weeks today. I haven’t really had much progress.

He is at -2. Not coming down.

Cervix is vertex no dilation.

50% effaced.

I started pumping after my doc gave me the go ahead. I’m being induced on Tuesday if all else fails.

I started getting some contractions I think?

I pumped for 15 mins on each breast for about an hour. Switching after each 15 mins.

My stomach gets very hard, and baby will be extremely pushed out, and I get a very distinct tightening in my pelvis and what feels like a mild period cramp.

They are NOT painful yet. Just uncomfortable.

They are kind of close together. Maybe every 10ish minutes?

I’m having a hard time distinguishing between early labor contractions and Braxton Hicks.

What are they like?
