Would you bring your 1 month old to a 3yr olds bday party? Read first

Question

My sons 3rd birthday is next month and I’m also due next month. So I figured I’d push back his party until February so babys at least a month old and hopefully less likely to get sick. 
I’ve also thought about just not having a party for my 3yr old but he really doesn’t play with too many kids unless its at birthday parties so it doesnt feel fair to not have one for him because of his brother. 
It’s all Facebook invites so I figured if I decide to do it just post on the event page that baby will be there and I don’t want him exposed to any sickness so if you’re sick please don’t come (worded differently), and I’d also try keep him in a carrier on me the whole time. 
Idk what would you do in this situation?

I'm not germaphobic with 4 kids so maybe just keep baby away from the other kids and put hand sanitizer near the stroller.
But let's be real for a moment. ....when I had my 4th baby I had an emergency c section and post partum preeclampsia. 2 of my kids had birthdays right after that. ...one a month later, the other 3 months later. I just didn't have a party for them besides inviting family to our house for pizza and cake. I felt so guilty but I just couldn't manage a party. They were happy as clams. We put a lot of pressure on ourselves for our kids to socialize and have these birthdays, but at 3 they're really just happy with having a great day. So I really felt guilty for nothing. So I guess bottom line, if you're not up for it, don't sweat it.

If I was in your position I probably would just do a small party with family for the 3 year old, and not worry about having a big thing since you just had a baby but if you really do want to have an actual party for him then in this case I would bring the one month old and like the above comment said try to baby wear that way people are less likely to be touching and holding the baby

I would not. 
Your son is 3. You can take him to the movies or buy a few presents and cake and do it just y’all. 
OR like us one year we pushed the party 5 months to the summer time to avoid winter and give baby more time to build an immune system 
There is to many things out there that baby is not protected against and will struggle to fight and it’s not worth it or fair to the baby. 
Even if they are not sick they can be a carrier for something 
When my kids were born I didn’t let anyone around for a few months but that’s the type of parent I am. 
So many can say “I washed my hands” “I’m not sick” “it’s just a sneeze / cough / rash” 
I personally would not risk it. I don’t think its being mean to your toddler either as your still doing something just not right at that moment

My daughter will turn 3 a month after baby is born. I will still have a party for her, at our home. With just immediate family (grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, great grandpa) like we usually do. I wouldn’t keep that from her. And it’s all people that will be seeing baby anyways.

I took my 2 mo to my friend's kids 4th bday... her dad held her and fed her and no one really even bothered her. Every one was playing with the 4 yo... I think it would be fine... maybe have grandma help with the baby and you do party stuff or vice versa... dad can help chase kids lol... 😁

My third boy is due literally the day after my oldest's 7th birthday. We are doing his birthday in February also, just because he can come at any time really.

I think this is tricky. You may just want to wear your baby that way they are less likely to be exposed to ton of different people especially little kids trying to touch him. My first is going to be on summer break from school shortly after the baby is born and I am already trying to plan how I am going to balance keeping him busy and protecting a newborn.
