Watery brown discharge 2 weeks before period is due?

Hi everyone ok so let me start off by saying I cannot be pregnant. My tubes are removed.

I got my tubes removed on October 24th. I got my period a few days after the surgery so it was all hectic. I then had my period a few days before thanksgiving. I’m not due for it again till a few days after Christmas.

I can feel the watery discharge but didn’t think anything of it (it’s also been 2 days since I had sex with my husband) I started getting a bit of weird cramping , went “to the bathroom” and noticed it’s brown. I don’t usually get brown till a few days before starting so that’s how I know I’m about to start my period.

I know brown is old blood but I’ve never gotten it before this mid cycle. Is this normal? Should I say something to my dr?
