Nipple care after breastfeeding

So about 4-5 months ago my right breast slowly dried itself off which I don’t mind because my daughter started to wear around my nipple out with teething. It started off small then eventually grew to almost cover my areola...I have large breasts so the only time I don’t wear a bra is to bed but that’s not enough and my boob is taking a long time to heal. It gets itchy from the dry skin healing then just as it’s looking good it goes back to being bad, I don’t know what else to do so has anyone else experienced this? What can I do
