How long are your periods with the copper IUD

I got mine put in on November 15th and I am just having my first period on it, it has already lasted like 6 days super heavy which to me is forever considering my natural periods are only 4 days and very light 😩☹️

I know some people can bleed for months straight on this thing can someone give me hope that I may still have somewhat regular length periods??

I hate having sex on my period and i hate using tampons or diva cups or pads or anything I just my period but I didn’t want a hormonal birth control because I’m very sensitive to it. I would die if I bled for weeks or months at a time pls no
