Spotting after cervical check
I'm 37 weeks today and I had my appointment this afternoon. My OB checked me and said I'm soft but that my cervix is closed. That was probably the first time I had a cervical check that actually hurt to get done. A couple hours later, I went to go pee and there was a decent amount of blood when I wiped. I called my office to see what they thought and told me its normal but if it gets heavier or coming with contractions or fluid to go to L&D to get monitored. My question is, would that cervical check possibly make my cervix start to dilate or thin out? My office does cervical checks starting from the beginning.
