Telling Parents Over Christmas?

We will be between 6-7 weeks when we are home for Christmas and wondering if we should use that as an opportunity to tell our parents. We will be seeing them both in person and likely won’t again until April (which would be way too late). What do you guys think? Tell them in person or wait and do it over the phone in late Jan?

Tell them! I will be telling mine the same time and we will be about as far along. I feel like family is the gear support group to have in board from the beginning.

Yes, just tell them in person! That’s what I did last year when I was about 6 weeks with my son, except it was Thanksgiving. 
This time around, I’ll be about 5-6 weeks around Christmas, so we are telling our families. ♥️

We’ve told our families but only the adults, as we had a bad late missed miscarriage last year and we had told our son before we knew anything and having to tell him broke my heart again so this time only adults know until it’s safe and then all the kids (our son and our nieces and nephews)

I am in a similar situation and I am going to tell them I am very bad at keeping secrets so I figured i'd plan the surprise instead of just saying it out of excitement (plus it easier than finding reason for why I am not drinking wine)... I don't know how to yet, I found some fake lottery scratchers on Amazon , I might do that so it is not a huge give away that we are filming :) congratulations on your baby!
