Do you think it’s easier to get pregnant when you’re not trying?

I’m curious because i feel like unplanned pregnancies happen more than intentional pregnancies. I have friends that have been trying for 1-2 years before they got pregnant, and then others who got pregnant by accident from a one night stand. It’s just so interesting how that works.

I’ve noticed that too. I think the stress of ttc probably plays a factor in it.

For people who suffer from infertility it’s a big no. We HAD to really try. For us it doesn’t just happen.

For some people maybe. For me, no definitely not haha. I need meds to get pregnant and wouldn’t be on them if I weren’t TTC.

I think the subconscious controls more than we think - it didn't happen for me when I was trying for baby #2, then I convinced myself I would see my period and TTC the next month and... Ooups 😂

I think it’s easier to get pregnant if you aren’t stressing. So if you’re trying so hard it’s stressing you out, don’t try so hard. But in general, trying (as in knowing your cycle, timing it right, not using protection) will increase your chances.
