Cold or sinus infection?

About 4 days ago I got a HORRIBLE sore throat, so bad I didn’t even wanna swallow. That got better the next day, but I think the drainage from my sinuses is making it sore off n on... I slowly became very congested in my nose. Dayquil did nothing for me... so I switched to mucinex, that seems to break up the mucus a little so I can blow it out. Not a lot comes out during the day, but first thing in the morning I blow out a lot of nasty looking stuff. I haven’t had a fever, my face doesn’t hurt... just a lot of congestion. No congestion in my chest, a little coughing here n there.

Does it sound like a cold? Or maybe a sinus infection? I’m gonna give it a few more days before rushing to the dr (bcus who actually likes the dr lol) thanks for your input!
