Contractions ???

I’ve been trying to keep myself together since yesterday morning when I woke up with purple looking blood on my pad. I haven’t quite stopped having a bloody show that isn’t even red or pink in color but more dark purple to almost black. I had gone to the ER to get checked considering I was 39w6d (now 40). Everything turned out to be fine and I was only 2cm dilated. I got discharged around 4pm yesterday and since then I have been feeling a lot of pressure on my lower back that sometimes goes towards the front. I’m a ftm so I’m taking a guess that these have been mild contractions I’ve been feeling.??? I’ve been feeling super uncomfortable and have to be up for an appointment in a couple of hours. My water has not broken at all.
