Party favor help!!!

So I’m organizing a Christmas party for my husbands work, yes Christmas the boss said “screw it, my company we say merry Christmas not happy holidays” it’s at a lake house and we have a private bar and a separate private dining room. It’s an ugly sweater theme and we have 62 attending with a possibility of a max of 10kids. I wanna do something for the kids but nothing big since there is a chance it might just be like 2 or 3 of ‘em. I’m torn since I sorta feel like “you know where your bringing them” but I know there prolly will be a few running through the dining room. I thought a small stocking with some candy was a great idea and my bestie told me Hell NO! She hates it when ppl give her kids (12,7,3) that you don’t know what they can or can’t have! I already mentioned it to the owner and he said it was a good idea but now idk. Please any comments or ideas would be great!should I go for the candy and ignore her thoughts that “parents hate it when you give their kids a bag of candy” idk my is only 7 months so I feel like she might be right since I haven’t really crossed that bridge yet 🤷‍♀️
