12 year old getting a tattoo ?

So the father of my unborn baby has a 12 year old daughter he called me today to tell me what they where doing since I’m on vacation visiting my mom before baby comes . He told me that he took her to his friends house who I wouldn’t allow my children to be around he just got out of prison and he does tattoos he said that he is letting his 12 year old daughter get a small butterfly tattoo on her ankle wtf  I told him before he mentioned that why do you even have her at that house and 2nd off she shouldn’t be getting a tattoo she’s a child and he got mad and hung up on me as he is hanging up idk who he was talking to but he said I never have this bitches support well excuse me this is making me not trust your parenting styles and is another real why we are no longer together I feel bad for his daughter he is just trying to hard to make her like him and going about it in a wrong way ugh I’m just frustrated

Her mom is not in the picture and gave her rights up when she was about 3 or 4  I’ve been in her life since she was little but his parents have custody of her and I’m pretty sure they aren’t aware where he took or what he is doing so I will call his dad and let him know  I  know it’s illegal to tattoo a minor and I tried telling him that but he just hung up on me he isn’t going to like what his parents will do once they find out
Update: 2 so it seems like the tattoo didn’t happen thank god he got some senses knocked in his head

That’s absolutely insane! 12 is way to young for a tattoo I would seriously fight hard for supervised visitations when your baby is born I mean my mom signed off on a tattoo for me at 15 but for a 12 year old? Absolutely not

Most tattoo places won’t allow a tattoo until the child is 16 with parental constant. 12 seems extremely young.

What respectable man (talking about the one doing the tattoos) agrees to tattoo a child?! In his home, nonetheless, which I’m sure is a super clean environment. 🤢 It’s wrong on so many levels. I’d call the mother and the cops, like the other commenter said. If nothing else the felon needs to have any tattoo licenses he has stripped (assuming he has any at all). The father of your unborn baby obviously has beyond horrible judgment. I hope you file for full custody.

I’d consider contacting the girls mother if I knew her number. That’s not okay. In some states, it may be illegal for him to tattoo her whether he gives permission or not.
