Undetectable Equals Untransmittable

Hello everyone I’m really not on this app as I use to be so I got on today and I just felt like sharing something. A year ago I found out I was hiv positive I was really scared... as time went by I learned a lot about myself and the diagnosis.

So today I just want to share something with you all. ‼️Undetectable = Untransmittable means a person living with #HIV on treatment with an #undetectable viral load can’t sexually transmit HIV‼️. That is known as U=U Help spread awareness! preventionaccess.org/undetectable

I wanted to share this because there is so much stigma placed on anybody who is hiv positive and even though this is backed by science most people don’t believe it.. You can read more by searching Undetectable = Untransmittable or going to preventionaccess.org/ The CDC also endorses U=U just spend a few minutes out of your day reading up on this. You can also read the studies.

I also post this because maybe there is someone close to you that is hiv positive but they are too afraid to tell you because of the OLD stigma attached to it..

The reasoning of this post is to raise awareness and break the stigma so please no rudeness 😎
