Feeling like a shit mom...
I feel like shit. My anxiety is through the roof... my daughter is going through, what I “think” she’s dealing with, is separation anxiety. She’s two.
She used to sleep through the night, and for the last 4 months wakes up several times... we’ve done every thing can think of to calm her, and help her. A new stuffy, thicker blanket, a heater in her room (gets cold in there) a new night light, a projector, etc. Last night she was up from 1 am to 5:15 am. Screaming. She falls asleep in front of me, and when I leave the room she screams uncontrollably. We’re all running on little sleep.
My in-laws just commented on it saying “it is definitely separation anxiety” (like they know, jesus they are NEVER around and never ask about my daughter) and said it like I’m doing everything wrong. I’m a stay at home mom. She’s with me all the time.
I feel like I’m failing my child. Some one please tell me advice or something...
Edited to add:
Yes. All 4 year old molars are in.
And yes. People keep telling me since she’s with me all the time she misses me at night. 🤷♀️
