I was in one with a cheater for a year and a half. Never again. My brother and his wife were in the beginning they met in New York for work and she was in Michigan. They would drive 4 hours each to Pittsburgh and meet in the middle there for a while. but they both took turns moving for the other. She moved here for him for work when a position opened up and because of their jobs, when a position opened up where she was from he moved there for her. If you aren’t willing to make that compromise at some point, or the effort of traveling frequently, then you are pretty much pen pals. It can work, however they tend not to because someone gets lonely and cheats. Good luck either way.
