8 weeks measuring 6

I’ve gone in for multiple ultrasounds so far because of a previous miscarriage. Last week there was a yolk sac and gestational sac, no fetal pole. I was told that there was maybe a .1% chance that there would be one this week and that I wouldn’t probably need to start thinking about some things.

Had the u/s yesterday and there was a small fetal pole with a hr of 116. I’m measuring in the 6 week range instead of 8. The yolk sac is borderline big but she didn’t say this is necessarily a bad thing.

My doctor told me to proceed with caution and not get too emotionally attached. She wanted to do a follow up u/s next week but I’ll be out of town; so, it’s not til 1/3.

Everything I’ve read online is mixed and now I’m worried. I know there is nothing I can do at this point other than take care of myself and try to stay off the Internet.

Just needed to tell someone. My husband knows and a friend but that’s pretty much it. Any words?
