Daycare holiday gifts?

Hi! Just wondering what protocol is for holiday daycare gifts for the staff? Do you tip or provide small gifts for them?
I was thinking some bottles of wine and chocolate. My little guy has been in for 5 months to I’m new to this!! If you have any really great ideas please share!!

I worked in childcare and have received gifts of all kind. From gift cards to (Starbucks and target) to lotions and Knick knacks. I’ve gotten candles and candy as well. Anything is appreciated but certainly not a must. Some daycares don’t allow their staff to accept cash tips. I’m sure whatever you give will be appreciated.

I gave my sons daycare staff cute bottles of Italian wine. I asked the head of directors in advance a) If they would like that and b) if the staff member were over 21. One is about 22-23 so I just wanted to be certain lol. In the past, with my first two, I’ve also done gift cards. Can’t go wrong with Amazon gift cards.
