Baby natural birth story

Hi ladies, just to share my success story and give hope to some of you maybe...

My water broke on Thursday morning but I noticed only a bit of clear liquid in my liner in addition to discharge. It lasted till Friday morning that way. On Friday I got gushes of liquid. At that point I knew it was amniotic fluid 100%. No contractions though. We went to the hospital, I was 1.5cm with broken water and no contractions. The Hospital staff tried to push me for pitocin. I said No, we left to a hotel nearby (we live far from hospital) and for next 12 hours started working on relaxation and homeopathic technics with my husband and doula to get the contractions going. 12 hours later I came back to hospital and was 4cm and had somewhat consistant contractions 5 mins apart.

12 hours after that my baby was born without epidural. They gave me laughing gas mask for pushing part since the baby's heart was dropping abit and we needed to push hard (i have 2nd degree tears) but honestly this gas was a joke, i think it didn't help at all. She was assisted with vaccuum due to urgent need to get her out. Once she was out, they put her on me, I pushed the placenta out and that was it.

All feels like a dream, unreal but my sweet Amilia is with us healthy and I'm recovering well.
