Help with an ex

Split up over 2 months ago we still talk when we see each other out but it is pretty awkward.

He has said he’s trying to sort his life out that’s why we broke up, but he has also said that he doses the want me to wait for him to sort his life out but then says to me he would be very upset if he found out I had moved on etc

I do like him and would like to get back together but I just don’t know what to do all his stuff is still at mine like clothes Xbox etc

But I know if I was to try contact him he wouldn’t answer

I really don’t know what to do guys ??
