How do you feel about depo?

What are your experiences with depo-provera? I got my injection a couple days ago and I don’t know how I feel about it yet.

I’ve been on DEPO for about 6 months and I love it!! I bled for almost a month straight after the first shot, but I haven’t bled since. All of my PMS symptoms are gone, my skin is clear, and I’ve lost weight (about 10lbs). I’ve read a lot of negative things about the long-term use of it though, so I will switch to something else when I reach the 2-year mark.

It takes a few months to adjust to any form of birth control. Depo wasn't for me but some people love it

I myself am 100% against it. I was put on it for 4 years, and when I got off I was unable to get a menstrual nor ovulate.  Obgyn said it could of contribute to my infertility. I'll say if you take them, just dont stay on for a long time.
