What does God mean to you?

Ok, to start off I'm posting here because i didn't know where else to properly post also this is just something to talk about.. I know there are different religions. So please no one get offended.

So I live close by a church, a church lady walked up too me & casually asked me.. what does God mean to you? My reply was "God to me is love, hope, faith" but I felt sort of weird since I felt she wanted more of a bible answer. I've always wanted to read the bible but I haven't gotten around to it. So here I am..
