Spotting After Sex - Should I Be Worried?
Today marks 7 weeks pregnant with my first pregnancy. Last weekend after sex, I had some very faint pink spotting. This spotting did not last and was only present when wiping. It did not continue and was only present after sex. I’ve been feeling nauseous and exhausted, so my husband and I did not have sex the whole next week. About two hours ago, I was feeling okay enough and we had sex. Afterward, I went to the bathroom and noticed some red streaking in his semen as I was cleaning up. When I wiped, there was a little more streaming. For the past two hours there has been very faint pink spotting when I wipe.
Of course I have Googled this non-stop for the past two hours and all sources say that this is normal due to increased blood flow to the cervix and uterus. In fact, many of the sources say this is a sign that the pregnancy is progressing normally. Just wondering what others have experienced in this regard.
More info: I am 29 years old and this is my first pregnancy. I was recently diagnosed with endometriosis (no laparoscopy to confirm) and was told there may or may not be some difficulty conceiving. My husband and I decided to start trying right away, just in case we ran into any road blocks while trying to conceive, only to find out I was pregnant before we even started trying!
