My husband has abused, assaulted and used me. We have security cameras, and I paid for cloud service. I have him on film assaulting me. Why am I still with him? I even have proof. Why haven't I left? It's my baby's 1st birthday, and christmas is days away. Why am I still here?

The sad truth is you will only leave when you have had enough or he crosses a line. A lot of women (myself included) stay in abusive relationships until we have truly had enough or the abuser hurts our children. My ex husband was super abusive. I had proof and money to get out but I stayed, I think I was holding on to a small amount of hope. My ex ended up hitting our young son and that was the line he crossed. Hitting me was one thing but hit my child. No.. I hit him with a baseball bat. I ended up getting arrested, he dropped the charges and I took my 2 boys and left. My sons told about his abuse to them and the escalation of his abuse to me. He didn't deny it in court and eventually stopped seeing our sons. I worked a lot and wasn't aware of his abuse to the boys until the night I beat his ass with the bat.
My point is don't wait until something happens to your children, don't be one of those women who go back either. Stay strong and leave. If not for you but for your kids.

I agree leave b4 he hurts the child too. You’ve got footage so you’ve got a case. If you bring it to light you can go forward in a restraining order or press charges for the abuse
