I think I’m coming down with a cold I’m supposed to get my tdap the day after Christmas. Do you think I’ll be ok to still get it? And what are the risks of getting it while sick?

I had the exact same situation where I felt like I was coming down with something. My dr said it was still ok to get the tdap. I only had a sore arm for a few days which is normal

It’s completely fine to get while sick and while pregnant. It is def recommended to protect baby. Unless you have extremely high fever, you’re fine. Like if you just have a cold there no contraindication to vaccines

No. It’s not recommended for pregnant or nursing moms as it is not safe or effective. Please read the insert before making a decision to get it. Especially don’t get it while sick as your immune system is already suppressed.
