13 weeks and brown discharge

So I am 13 weeks pregnant, had my first appointment on Thursday and baby looks great very active heart rate 160. They did a Pap smear which my cervix didn’t like and I bled a lot. Doctor said I have a sensitive cervix but cleaned up really well. I spotted for 2 days after and things started to clear up. Sunday I felt like I had a UTI so I was peeing a lot but having a hard time. But started noticing flakey brown when I wiped and then a lot of brown discharge. I’m starting to worry cause this is how our last miscarriage started. We planned on telling my family today but now I’m worried we’ll tell them and then have a miscarriage.

Just wondering is this brown discharge and the large amount of it normal?? Was going to call the doctor but they don’t open till later.
