Family Drama

So my one cousin is the oldest out of 5 of us and I am the second oldest and she is in a serious relationship and probably going to be getting engaged soon (as there has been talk of it) which is great! However, I am also in a serious relationship as well and probably going to be getting engaged soon (like really soon). But I feel like my cousin feels like it is a competition to get engaged first (since she is the oldest she likes to be the first for EVERYTHING). And I just dont like it. Like why does it matter on who gets engaged first? We had Christmas with them on Friday and there was talk about them and then I overheard a couple of my other cousins (her brother and sister) talking something about "well it depends on who proposes first" and then something along the lines of "yeah probably not them". So I feel like they all think that it should be her first. Which I know is probably stupid to be irritated by it, but it bothers me because it's like just because she is the oldest doesn't mean she has to be the first at everything. Like sorry honey, reality check, not everything is going to be all about you. Sorry rant over. Thanks for reading.
