No tummy time

I just realized that I hardly do tummy time with my daughter because she screams the entire time she is on her belly. I’m worried she could be in pain because she has a very large umbilical hernia. Now I very very rarely place her in her belly. She turned 3 months on the 20th. She shows no signs at all of starting to roll front to back because she never has a chance to do it. Does anyone else have a baby with an umbilical hernia? Do you place her on her belly? I’m always afraid it will get caught. It already makes horrible noises when her clothes touch it or she moves her belly :(
