What’s something that you find odd?

For me, it’s when parents spend so much money on clothes and toys 🧸 on children. I am a bargain hunter. So it’s kind of fascinating when people spend hundreds on things that are going to be used once or twice.

I find it odd that it’s 2019 and some people haven’t learned how to mind their own. People will purchase whatever they can/want & how they see fit for their children.

hmm I see what you mean haha but I am one of those people that spend hundreds on boutique clothing/wooden toys for my son. but we also dont have cable tv, we never go out to eat, and literally never spend money unless its stuff for our son or home decor. We dont have a ton of stuff, but few very high end pieces. we like things to last for years and buying heirloom quality things, not just like target outfits that are mass produced. Just different strokes for different folks I guess :)

I’m a fan of buying fewer high quality things. Sure I could get cheap clothes from Target, but I’d be supporting unfair labor practices in China. If that means buying a $70 knit sweater handmade in the USA that will last forever, it’s worth it.
