Who else is avoiding “pumping” by using the haakaa?! (Silicone breast milk catcher)

I’m using the off brand naturebond silicone breast pump and wow I’m amazed. I never had a stash of milk with my first born. Now I’m only 5 weeks pp and I’ve got quite a bit. And still able to nurse on demand. I just attach the pump every feeding and catch about 0.5-2.5 oz, depending on the time of day. Right now they are pretty cheap on amazon, I’m thinking I need another one for convenience. Anyone else with me on this?

I did it all at first, now I just nurse on demand... I have some breastmilk frozen but honestly I hate the hassle of dealing with the storage of it and I’m not so sure when I’ll use the milk anyway... I’ll probably go back to using my “haankaa” though (mines bumblebee brand) just because I hate the waste of my letdown going into a pad...

I used my pump twice and thought "hell no this sucks" and use my haaka only to help baby with my insane let down. I'm not a fan of pumps they hurt way more than when I was first learning to breastfeed my now 6 week old.

It’s fantastic!  I love mine. Totally how I’m building by freezer stash at this point and not wasting the milk into a breast pad.   I didn’t have one with my first and I’ve regretted it seeing how much milk i can effortlessly save.

I tried one with my first kid and never got much. I just don’t express a lot without a real latch and suck. I never leaked much either. But my spectra S2 pump worked fine.

Yes!!! I am 13 days pp and I’ve filled a 6oz bag every day just by using my hakaa (mine is off brand too- works great). Plus it helps relieve the other side a bit! I’ve been wondering if it has any consequences on my supply at all? So far seems fine
