Balance in family time
My boyfriend refuses to alternate christmases (that’s a dealbreaker for him) it’s either I spend Christmas with his family or we spend it apart. It’s never been that way in previous relationships—I’ve been the one who turned it down when they’ve offered, but he hasn’t even offered and just now told me (a year and a half later in our relationship) that that’s something he would never do until we’re married—not even engaged. Is that fair?
