What does an in-home daycare do with a fussy baby?

Caila

I love my daughter to death, but she's an absolute nightmare and has been since she was born. She just constantly screams at the top of her lungs for no reason. Family members don't even want to come visit because it's so miserable.

I am supposed to go back to work in 2 weeks and have a former coworker who runs an in-home daycare. She watches a couple of older children and has a 1yo of her own, so my daughter will be the youngest by far (4 months). I am so worried that she's going to cry so much that she tells me not to bring her back or that she'll just be left to cry. She's the only provider, so there's no backup.

Has anyone else experienced putting an extremely high needs baby in an in-home daycare and had success? I was supposed to go back to work 2 months ago and couldn't because everyone who said they would babysit changed their minds after she was born. 🤦‍♀️
