Spotting EVERY month?

Question

Anyone else have spotting every single month?? I have had it a week to a week and a half before my period. My doctor said it can be normal but it ends up being 2 weeks of bleeding every cycle. Makes a frustrating process even worse. Wondering if anyone else has gotten answers on this!

I’m the same! Spotting from 4 dpo onwards basically every cycle, ttc for 6 months. 
Hormones tested and all fine, ultrasound good too. Getting further tests and testing my husbands sperm soon, too. I did get off birth control right before I started trying, but the issue hasn’t improved. From what I’ve seen, spotting seems mostly related to women who have gotten off the pill after a long time of being on it? But the issue is it seems to remain for a long time after, even years off the pill when the hormones are long gone from their system? This could just be a coincidence though. 
But from all of the searches I seem to do, if it’s not progesterone or fibroids/polyps, doctors seem to say “it’s fine won’t affect your chances.” BUT I always see these same people with only the spotting issue saying that they’ve been ttc for a long time so I think it has to have a correlation?

I start randomly spotting about a week or week and a half before my period starts every single month as well, and my dr said it’s not a concern because my cycle otherwise runs like clockwork. I always get positive ovulation around the same days and my cycle is always about 27 days. I’ve had all my hormone testing done too and all of that was normal. 
My dr says that some people are just more sensitive to slight changes in progesterone levels and are more likely to spot during their luteal phase. If your cycle is all over the place (super long or short or irregular), it might be a concern though. 
I’m still not entirely convinced that it doesn’t impact your chances to conceive though, because we’ve been trying for over two years and not a single positive test. I do have other health issues that could be a factor though.

I came off the pill a year and a bit ago after being on it for 10 years and get spotting every month a few days before. My cycles are regular and I ovulate each month. I did fall pregnant after 7 months of ttc but it ended in a miscarriage

Same situation for me.. so frustrating because I don’t know if when the spotting starts it means there’s no chance of getting pregnant? I worry that the spotting is so early that there’s no chance for implantation. I wonder if it can still happen.

I’ve been looking for someone in the same boat... I’m ovulating at a normal time each month, but yeah I get excited because I think it’s implantation spotting then nope.... Curious to know if idea affecting your ability to get pregnant?
