Want to become a SAHM

I’m 37 with a six year old son and a baby on the way. I work full time and lately I’ve been really thinking about quitting after the baby is born and staying home. I would like to work from home if I am able to find something. Trying to keep from putting the baby in daycare and my son in after care. My bf has a really good job and makes plenty of money. This has been weighing heavy on my mind and we’ve talked about it but nothing is definite. I just wanted to get some advice on how anyone on here started to be a SAHM. I would appreciate any advice.
