Any words yet...???

Wondering if any of your February babies are saying any words yet? I’ve had a few family members ask of my little one is taking yet and it has made me a little concerned. She says mama and dada and other sounds but not words like bye bye or Hi... she has a Dr. appointment this morning week( for a weight check) I’m definitely feeling nervous about everything right now mostly because she’s SO tiny!! She was born Feb. 15 weighing 6.6 lbs and right now she’s only 14 pounds.. she’s eating food and we’re trying not o get her to take more formula (she’s been exclusively breastfed) Anyways just figured I’d ask for thoughts?

My little girl is talking BUT my Nephew didn’t really say his first word until after 1. Babbling is the biggest thing right now, I personally don’t think she’s delayed in that sense. Just word of warning, when they do start to talk watch out. It’s cute then out of no where it’s DEMANDING. 10 months going on 16 over here 😅

Mine is saying mama and dada right now.  She’s more focused on trying to walk than talk.

My little one is only 15 lbs born feb 27th. Doc is not worried because she has been gaining and following her own growth curve. My little one says things like baba, yaya, dadada, nana... Im just sitting here 👀👀 waiting for mama 👀👀😂😂!!

Not quite. She does a LOT of babbling and mama & dada.  Also a lot of screaming & yelling 😂

My lo says mama dada no no no, I’m still trying to teach him more but it’s really up to him. He’s more into trying to walk right now.

My daughter was born Feb 1 and is basically just babbling. She’s starting to copy some noises we make but that’s it. I’m not too concerned at the moment 🤷🏻‍♀️ all babies are soooo different!

They work on the motor skills or the talking at one time I think. My son wants to start walking but he’s taken some major falls so he has slowed down a little. He said his first word, hi many months ago. But now all he says is dada, nana once, gaga, mmm mmm. Lots of babbling. But not many actual words yet. I figure once he starts walking unassisted he will switch back to working on words. We need to read to him more too.
