Crib or bassinet?

How old will your baby be when you transition him/her in their own room/own crib?

4 months.
Went from bassinet in our room to crib in her room.

She’ll be in a little cosleeper next to the bed for the first at least 8 months because we’re in a one bedroom haha and because I want to cosleeper for at least the first six months. But we’re hopefully going to be moving into a two bedroom when she’s about 7 or 8 months old and I was planning on keeping her with us til she’s one but we might move her into her own room a month or two after the move. I plan on sort of playing it by ear on that one.

The baby should be in your room for the first year because of risk of sids. After that it’s up to you when you move them 🤗 we put our toddler in his own room when he started waking less frequently to feed at about 15/16 months as i am too lazy to keep getting out of bed 😂

Never. Never used either. I hate I wasted money on the brand new crib. It’s on fb for less than half the original price. And do be careful with bassinets as some of them tip over. I got a cheap one from Walmart and it was so easily flippable. I was scared to use it. I guess you get what you pay for. So be sure to make sure it’s good :)

I got a pack n play with a bassinet insert for my son. I then transitioned him to his crib at 4 months old after he started sleeping through the night.
