HCG at 154????

Question

Yesterday I went to the ER for cramping that was going on for 24 hours, WITHOUT bleeding. According to my last period(nov26) I should be 5 weeks today. 
They checked my HCG and it was at 154 and said that means I’m 1-3 weeks pregnant. I ovulated on Dec14/15 so I don’t know if that makes me less pregnant? 
They told me to get my HCG checked in 2 days to make sure it’s doubling.

Honestly, I would prepare yourself for the worst. Mine was twice that at 5 weeks last pregnancy and it was doubling fine until it got to about 900 and I miscarried. I’ve heard rare stories where people have had lower hCG so hopefully you’re one of the lucky ones, but that’s definitely on the low end.

As long as your HCG is doubling or at least rising that is important part! Once you get the results back that’s the important thing to look into.

So that chart starts from implantation week, not the first day of your last period. Just keep that in mind, not sure where you’re counting your weeks from.
