When could you see your baby?

I went for an ultrasound and what I believe to be 6 weeks and 2 days. My Gestational sac is measuring 5weeks 4days so I must be behind. They did a transvaginal ultra sound and only saw my gestational sac and nothing nothing else. I also don’t have any real symptoms anymore. Would this mean I’m 5 weeks and 4 days of the 6 weeks and 2 days? Should i be worried?

Most don’t see anything till about 6+5. Dr offices usually don’t do first ultrasounds till 8-9weeks for that reason. You could have ovulated early. I wouldn’t worry until there’s something to worry about.

It's still very early! I had my first abdominal ultrasound at 7 weeks and we could barely see her! This is why normally the ob wont see you til you're around 8 weeks

Well...I don't want to scare you or upset you but what did the doctor say? For me, measuring that far behind was an indication of miscarriage which unfortunately happened.

At 6 weeks 1 day (our first pregnancy) we still couldn’t see baby. Just a fetal pole and yolk sac. At 8 weeks 6 days (second pregnancy) we could clearly see a little bean
