Time from induction to birth

I’m a FTM with GD and just found out today that we’re doing an induction the evening of March 15th (I’ll be 39 weeks exactly). I know that it varies greatly between people, but for anyone who was induced with their first baby, how long did it take from when you started the induction to when the baby arrived? The internet says an average of 2-3 days but I was curious about what people have experience in the process. I’d also love to know what it was like and any tips to making the process easier. I don’t know anyone who’s been induced so I figured I’d reach out here. Any insight would be awesome :) thanks ladies!
