Getting 19mo from my bed to his own?

Question

So my youngest is 19 months old and he's slept in my bed since he was 1 month old. I'm pretty sure hes too old for the CIO method etc etc but does anyone have any tips for getting him in his own bed? His toddler bed is currently in his big brothers room (3years) but I can move it in my room to begin with if need be :) I'm due baby #3 in June so thought now is better late than never! Thanks in advance.

My son is 20 months old and has been in the bed with us since birth too. We also have an almost 3 month old daughter who also sleeps with us. Lately after he goes to sleep I just move him to his crib in our room. He nurses to go to sleep still and I'm really at a loss of what to do to make bedtime easier. I don't mind sharing our bed but there's just so little room lately and my son is a restless sleeper. I don't have it in me to let him cry it out. I've always been here for him and I couldn't imagine breaking his little heart and making him feel abandoned when he is so use to cuddling to sleep. I love the time I get with him at bedtime but it's hard sometimes because the baby wants milk too and I can't seem to figure out how to get a schedule going for them both.

Going through this now too! We’re on night 3 of her in her crib. We made her a bedtime book we’re we explain what’s going to happen. “Mommy and daddy will sleep in their bed, Cosette will sleep in her crib” Next page says “Mommy and daddy will come get you in the morning after your awesome nights sleep and cover you in hugs and kisses” stuff like that. It helped! I feel like she’s so smart and understands so much. Having it kid out with pictures helped.

Currently dealing with this too atm. I'm also due in June, with baby #2. When I do move my daughter to her crib she never stays asleep as long as she does with me🤦🏻‍♀️

I'm going to be working on this, this month. Due my second in the end of June so want to get a move on with this. I'm thinking I'll just get a comfy chair for next to my sons bed and sit with him until he falls asleep to start with.
