Do you guys think metal concert at 18 weeks pregnancy will be okay?

We already bought tickets to Tool concert and found great seats but now my husband is worried it might hurt the baby’s ear drums even though it’s too early for baby’s ears to be effected from outside noise. They aren’t even heavy metal band and it’s annoying that he is making me feel guilty for wanting to go 😠 ....  What do you all believe?

Tbh, I wouldn't go. Every concert I've ever been to has had shoving, fights, rowdy people, etc and I wouldn't wanna be there pregnant. Ask your doc and see what they say. Ultimately it's up to you and your doc and you're gonna get a lot of opinions asking on the internet

I mean, I feel like their ears are fine, it would be the smoking and overall alcohol fueled violent environment of metal concerts I would be more concerned about.

i went to a concert pregnant and it was miserable and you have to be so careful with how rough and chaotic people get. personally i wouldn’t ever do it again.

I would go. I went to Coheed & Cambria the day I found out I was pregnant and then Behemoth/Slipknot, and Tool all while pregnant. My baby is fine.
Tool shows are always in big arenas and unless you have floor tickets, you’ll be in a seat and hardly anybody gets rowdy in the seats. I don’t even see people really get rowdy on the floor at Tool shows very much.

If you have an actual seat for the concert I wouldn’t see why it would be an issue. If you have floor tickets then I would definitely not go. I wouldn’t be concerned about babies ears. I would be more concerned about mosh pits starting and getting pushed around.

I went to a In This Moment, New Years Day & Ded concert with my sister at 16 weeks pregnant. It was also inside & standing only. Should be fine.

I went to a Jimmy Buffet concert at 24 weeks pregnant with my first. Obviously not as intense as metal, but it was fun and I had a blast. We tailgated all afternoon and then went to the concert. My kid is fine and he LOVES music.

You’re fine. Baby is well protected in there. I went to concerts while pregnant w both kids, and they have excellent hearing (sometimes it’s too good 😆).

I went to a "metal" show at like 27 weeks pregnant, although it was outdoors. We just hung out in the back and took it easy. 🤷🏻‍♀️
