Working parents + Child care
We are first time parents to a 4 month old girl and both us are working. Currently I have my sister with us for baby care. Next week she is leaving back and then it will be just me and my husband. Our parents will be visiting 2 months later which will be of great help. Meantime, we are planning to adjust these 2 months without outside support to look after the baby and still keep the job (cannot afford to loose jobs at this point, Money is a b*tch 💰🙄).
This is our plan: Both of us planning to work remotely + day offs in between depending on the situation. Not sure how long we can continue.
We don’t want to send her to a daycare since she is too tiny. We will consider hiring a nanny as our last resort if we cannot handle the pressure.
If any of you have done this or been in similar state please provide your valuable suggestions/tips/advice. 🙏🏻
TIA.
Update: Parents coming in early to our rescue. Thank goodness! 😅
Thanks to all your comments. Cleared out my misunderstanding that babycare is too easy. 😆
