GD Test

Okay I know this is a question for my doctor, but I don’t see her for a week and was curious if anyone else has experienced this. I had my gestational diabetes test done today, and my bloodwork came back normal. However, the glucose in my urine came back SUPER high. When I first arrived to do the test, I didn’t have to pee, so I asked the nurse if it was okay to wait for a bit or if I had to do it right away. She said as long as it was done sometime over the next 2 hours before I left, no problem. So I drank the sugar drink and used the washroom maybe an hour or so after finishing the drink. Could this be the reason why the glucose was spiked so high? Again... I know this is a question for my OB, just wondering if this has ever happened to anyone else. Thanks so much!!
