Does your baby hold their own bottles?

Curious where your babies are at with grasping.

She grasps toys (and my hair) amazingly well. She has zero desire to hold her bottle, she just hits it over and over for fun.

Luca can hold his bottle but refuses to as he would rather have his arms up and play with his hair, play with my hair, play with my necklace, pet the dog, etc. Milk drinking is a leisurely activity in this house.

We are really trying lol. My one son wants nothing to do with holding it. I think because when I feed him he likes to hold my hands

My LO has just started to hold his bottle in the past few days. He will hold it for most of the feeding but needs help when it gets low

My son can but sometimes likes his bottles propped up instead. Just depends on his mood for the day 😂

My son has great hand eye coordination and can grasp things well and switch hand to hand. I’ve never taught him to hold his bottle though 🤷🏻‍♀️. He’s inclined to play a lot during milky time so I have to be in control still 😂.

She will hold it for awhile if I put her hands on it. Then towards the end she wiggles around and will take her hands off. But I’m working to have her hold it every time so it becomes routine for her and won’t need me to hold it. But, I look at it as a little bit more snuggle time in the day so I don’t mind. I know it’s an important milestone so I encourage her to do it herself.
