Are we in some clingy phase?

My son, who will be 7 months old tomorrow is in such clingy phase. I can’t even put him on playground for more than 10 minutes because he will start crying and start crawling towards me, or he will put his arms towards me in order to pick him up. He is adorable but my back and my arms hurts 🤦‍♀️🙈
Are we in some crazy phase which I am unaware of? Am I alone or?

Sorry! I deleted my post to edit the picture and take away the area info lol. My boy is the same age and still does okay with others holding him or us leaving the room. He will get clingy after naps though. He also will put his head down now around people like he’s shy/unsure. We’ve been playing with an object permanence box though to teach him that if something leaves it can come back since that’s something they’re not understanding at this age.

Yes, we’re going through a separation anxiety phase. My girl was hit with this, and a UTI and is teething hard (is now pulling at her ears. I know it’s not ear infection because she’s on antibiotics for the uti) so the last week has been tough for us. 29-30 weeks is the time for separation anxiety to kick in.

Same here! I think mine is teething at the same time, and she doesn’t want anyone else. So it’s hard to catch even a short break.

Same!! My daughter will be 7 months tomorrow also. I breastfeed so she extra clingy. For me to do anything I have to put on frozen. She won’t budge until it’s over lol
