Halloween

So my ‘best friend’ from elementary whom I haven’t seen in like two years. We’ve grown apart since I had my kid almost 4 years ago. She’s been around my daughter like 3 times and has never met my May baby (hasn’t asked to see or visit). I was having a family while she was trying to get with this guy and live her single life. Well she got engaged and is asking if she can have her wedding on Halloween. Like if it’s a big deal since I have kids. I’m like thinking its your day. It is whatever you want. Like I’m not going to be that person to tell her no...don’t get married the day you want too. It’s one year to skip Halloween but at the same time it sucks since my May baby will be walking. But it’s not like he’ll remember or even get the point of it or even need the candy. A little bitter sweet especially since we’ve been so distant and I feel like she has no interest in my kids or being apart of our lives but I’m just trying to be supportive.
