If you take your dog to get their nails clipped, do you tip who does it?

We take our dog to his vet to get his nails clipped occasionally. I’ve never taken him, so idk what the etiquette is for that haha. I’m guessing no but just wondering what others may or may not do

If your dog is pretty good at getting their nails clipped then I don’t think about it. If your dog is god awful then a dollar would make me feel a lot better about getting scratch and nipped. This lady at my work brings her two dogs in and she knows they are BAD. She always gives us a couple of dollars

Our dog goes to a groomer (only for her nails to be trimmed) and we tip a few dollars every time, but our dog also acts like it’s the end of the world and screams, whines, wiggles, and has to be muzzled so I figure a tip is worth it lol

Just a note the vets don’t clip the dogs nails , the techs ( nurses ) or sometimes the assistants do . It’s always nice to be tipped. Tip the person when they’re giving the animal back to you . There will never be an option at check out at most places to do that . Also if your dogs / cats are awful in the sense that they freak out or are aggressive  DEF TIP .

We go to the Texas coalition for animal protection, it costs 5$ and I usually get it done with whatever we are there for such as dental cleaning or vaccines. There isn't an option for tipping at checkout.

I use to work at dog kennel and did grooming. Honstely a lot of ppl do!  Its nice to atleast get something. Even if it's a dollar or two. 
If your dog is super hard to handle its defintely more appreciated. 
But you tip when you get your nails done! 😊
