Sex concerns

I just had sex and my “area” feels super sore and painful. Like I just rubbed pepper all over it and it hurts more if I press on it. How long does it take for soreness to go away? This isn’t my first time having sex (I’ve only been doing it with one person -my bf- for like about 5 months) but I’ve never felt this much pain. He went a little rough I guess and I was wet but I guess not towards the end when I started to feel a little sore. But is there anything I can do to relieve the pain? Can it turn into something serious like blisters or whatever inside me ?? I’m scared. And he also came inside me and I’ve been taking bc for about a month, the 21 days pills but I have to stop for 7 days before starting the next pack and I started the next pack like 2 days ago, does this mean I’m still protected or should I be scared ? Help!
