Baby shower date?

How far ahead should you have your baby shower? I’m due June 28th and my sisters are planning on the shower being May 23 which to me seems a little close in case I have to buy stuff that I don’t get for the baby shower.

I’m due July 11th I’m having mine April 26 which I’ll be 30 weeks I believe. I wanted to do it that way because I’ll have more time to be able to situate things. My sis in laws agree because they didn’t want me to wait and then go into labour. Which I agree.

I had mine at 30 weeks. My mom originally wanted to throw me one around this time (34/35 weeks) and I’m so glad she didn’t. I am beyond exhausted rn. My feet are swollen all day. Back pain. Just tired. Lol

My first shower was scheduled for 37 weeks. I told my mother in law it was too late, she didn’t believe me. I had the baby at 36 weeks 5 days. No shower for me. Mama knows best.

With my son I did it at 32 weeks and had him at exactly 40 on his due date this time I’m 30 weeks tomorrow I actually going wait till I’m 35/36 weeks 😂

Mine was about 7 or 8 weeks before my due date. You’ll have plenty of time! Honestly, we didn’t use much the first few months after having the baby :)

I’m doing mine 8 weeks before so I don’t feel uncomfortable and able to have time to go through everything and wash everything. My cousin ended up going into labor two weeks after her shower and nothing was done, so lesson learned lol..
